Growing with Purpose means being intentional about where we grow, how we grow and why we grow. It means welcoming new people and opportunities while making thoughtful decisions that respect Caledon’s unique character, support our communities and protect its natural beauty.

Where we grow matters:

From our rural communities, agricultural lands to our natural landscapes and emerging urban areas, we must plan for growth in ways that respect the distinct character of our hamlets and protect what makes Caledon special.

How we grow matters:

We are working toward complete, connected communities where people can live, work and play, supported by the infrastructure, services, parks, trails, roads and public spaces that help communities thrive.

Why we grow matters:

Growth should create opportunities, support quality of life and contribute to a strong, sustainable future for everyone who calls Caledon home. By balancing new development while protecting our heritage, natural environment and small-town character, we can ensure that progress strengthens rather than diminishes what makes our community unique.

Growing with Purpose is about looking beyond today to consider the Caledon we want to create for generations to come.
