The Bolton Transportation Master Plan identifies transportation concerns in Bolton and the surrounding area and recommends a strategy to address each of these concerns.

To develop a comprehensive transportation plan, we looked at concerns and opportunities, including:
- Population growth and the challenge of moving people and goods efficiently
- Truck traffic into and through Bolton
- Downtown heritage preservation
- Multi-use transportation options
Study area
The Study Area Map shows the boundaries of the Bolton Transportation Master Plan:
- Gore Road to the west
- Caledon Town King Line/Albion Vaughan Road to the east
- Old Church Road to the north
- Mayfield Road to the south
